Taichi

Ichi: means 1, one=oneness in Japanese.

If you read it as "Taiichi (double "i")" with this Kanji, it means the 'origin of the universe' in ancient Chinese philosophy.

Tai: also means Sea, ocean/sea in Maori (New Zealand's indigenous people).

Damon and I met on the sea somewhere in the Pacific ocean. The ocean connects the continents and hence the people on the lands so we hope that our baby will take on such roles in his lifetime......
